I was able to go to Mena, Arkansas on a mission trip. We were there for a total of 10 days. The town was destroyed by a tornado, so the youth group went down to help. The townsfolk originally wanted the group to help with clean up, but this group of kids has built houses from the ground up on previous trips, so the mission leaders requested that they use the kids for construction rather than clean up. They rebuilt one house that was severely damaged.

One of the houses we helped rebuild.

This place is a castle built for Queen Wilhelmina. She is a dutch queen and the people here built it for her to stay in if she ever came to Arkansas. Guess what? She has never visited! I think that is really strange to build a castle for someone you have never met or has visited.

A view of Rich Mountain.
